Hello. My name is Elizabeth McIvor. I represent BUYERS exclusively, and specialize in Horse Properties.
Before I share information about who I am, I must address two very important and fundamental questions. What do I offer that sets me apart from other Realtors? Why choose me to help you find your dream home? The answer is really quite simple. First and foremost, the entire process is about you and your needs.
Once you have relayed your criteria I will work tirelessly to find what you are seeking and make the entire process as comfortable and stress free as possible.
Secondly, because I work with buyers only, not only do I have intimate knowledge of the buying process, but you never have to be concerned about a conflict of interest. And since I work exclusively in the buying arena, I am often contacted by agents who have 'discreet' listings.

About Me
I have lived in Malibu for over 15 years and love it here. It is a neighborhood, and while other areas of LA are sweltering or shivering, Malibu remains temperate. The ocean is an ever changing vista, and the sea breezes keep the air clean and allergens to a minimum. There are restaurants where you can drop in for soup and a sandwich, and others that are fine dining experiences...all within a 5 minute radius.
Perhaps my affinity for Malibu comes from having been born and raised in a small beachside community in New Zealand, a suburb of the capital city, Wellington, called Petone. (A Maori name, pronounced Pet-oh-nee).
And real estate is in my blood.
My father created the first property management company in the country, and was also one of the founders of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand.
My elder sister, assigned as private secretary to the President of the Fifth U.N. General Assembly, Sir Leslie Munro, followed his lead in Dallas, and has been consistently recognized by D Magazine as among the top agents in that city. Now that she is semi-retired, fate has passed the baton along to yours truly, and I was fortunate indeed, in the fourth quarter of 2009, to be ranked 390th out of 46,000 agents in the NRT family of companies within the USA.
